Saw Max Papis posted today on twitter that he was looking to start a new career racing 410 sprints on the WoO Tour. dOES HE HAVE ANY PREVIOUS BACKGROUND IN SPRINT CARS? Either way, it's a big name and I would assume if he's going to try this he must have soke backing. So it can only be good for the sport. Hopefully he has some success. Good Luck Max!

Max attended the Knoxville Nationals this year with his steering wheel company. He's also had some midget lessons from Kevin Thomas, Jr. It'd be awesome to see him try his hand at sprint cars, Mad Max is a true wheelman and he wouldn't be afraid to put the pedal down.

or involved with a race team in some capacity?
No matter what his involvement will be, it's good for Sprint Car Racing (a high profile driver with international ties giving positive press to sprint car racing).
