Hey guys...

I'll do my best to get results posted throughout the night tonight from the IRA show at Superior during their Budweiser Northern Nationals. Most of the traveling IRA troupe is here and a few other drop ins, including Chad Blonde from MI, Davey Heskin from MN, Travis Cram in the Gifford 17G and Kurt Winker made the tow from Kenosha in the Hartnell 48H.

Qualifying is about to begin...

All good things,

Justin

Qualifying is complete now... Russel Borland had a very hard hit straight into the turn two concrete wall during his second lap. They had a lengthy red flag to remove him from the car and he was transported to the hospital. He was communicating with the Midwest Safety Team but I don't have any further details...

Chad Blonde was quick time with a 13.351. He was the 9th car out but the track is heavy and it didn't matter when you timed.

The rest of qualifying was

1. Blonde, 2. S. Uttech, 3. Heskin, 4. D. Uttech, 5. Neitzel, 6. Whitney, 7. Warren, 8. Balog, 9. Cram, 10. Hafeman, 11. Sernett, 12. Winker, 13. Haeni, 14. Meyer, 15 Reinke, 16. Thomas, 17. Borland, 18. Wirth, 19. Irwin, 20. Symoens, 21. Goeden, 22. Biertzer, 23. Melanson, 24. Modjeski, 25. Vanderver, 26. Kristan, 27. Hunt, 28. Wilson

All good things,
Justin

Heats are complete... Haeni, Balog and Reinke won heats... Thomas flipped in heat one. Goeden missed transfer, Blonde broke, S. Uttech missed transfer... Winker had transfer on last lap and spun so Whitney got the fifth and final transfer. Very entertaining heats.

Good news on Russel Borland... He is spending the night in the hospital in Duluth but will be released in the morning with no serious injuries.
