Not only was the new Jackson Nationals a success, it showed the true heart of sprint car fans, participants, sponsors and last night, the NSL as a series and an organization of good people. The fund raiser for Kevin Swindell raised roughly $13,400.00 through the activities that were planned. The folks with the NSL had set a goal of $10,000.00. In the end, Todd and Lisa Quiring and the entire NSL organization made additional contributions to bring the total contribution to Kevin's recovery fund to $30,000.00! And don't forget the NASCAR drivers and all those who donated items to the silent auction, and Rico, who put in the high bid for the drivers uniforms. There were far too many to mention them all, and I'm sure some who provided silently. I'm proud to be a race fan!
