I don't really understand. It's not an opinionated or editorial piece. There was an interview, and a story followed. Not everything has to be written based on opinion.

Just more posts from Swindell haters. They truly hate seeing anything positive or anything that may lead to something positive when it comes to Sammy. Makes me laugh. It's a shame that people have so much hatred for someone who has done so much for sprint car racing. Haters keep on hating. Sammy's gonna be around for a while yet and there's nothing you can do about it. Enjoy!!!!
On the bright side, nice article Mr. Elliott.

The point of the story is what is happening with this team. The slight changes — Jackson coming off the road, going old school in technology — and McMahan getting a vote of confidence, so to speak, is the reason it was written.

It's not at all about Sammy it is his stories that contradict what the last story was all about.

Great article. Thanks for all you do. I guess I need to embrace the total retro theme these days, tires like the 1980s, setups like the 1990s and of coarse the driver and engine from the mid 1950's
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Sammy's stories? Jeremy's stories? Barry Jackson's stories? CJB's stories? Whose stories are you talking about? "He" is rather vague. Is it Sammy's story that he was retired and now is back racing?
Either way, how does a contradiction in a story constitute rose colored glasses? I'm confused here. Type more than a sentence and make your point. I'm genuinely curious to see what you have to say.

Good Story as usual Gators ignore the haters. Any word on where Sammy will run National Open weekend with the NSL racing in the midwest.
Also thinking of going to Attica this weekend wonder if Steve Kinser will be there or any other outsiders, most likely no locals with all the racing at home.

Gene Haas dicked around for 5 years without any success and when he asked Chad Knaus for advice, Knaus told him to hire a driver that can win.
Last DRIVER that could beat Schatz consistently was Jason Meyers.
Sammy is a step in the right direction.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com
