In addition to the car show in the courtyard at Eagle Raceway on September 6th there will be a drivers autograph session from 4:30 to 5:30.
Details have just been finalized that will add 2 legends of the sport of sprint car racing to the autograph session.
Both Doug Wolfgang and Bob Trostle will also be there to give autographs to the fans. They of course will have their books with them; 'Lone Wolf' is the story of one of the "Big Three" in sprint car racing's golden age and 'Life's Tough on the Circuit ' is the tale of one of the premier car builders of our sport.
Come out and meet two of the greatest, then settle in for the 3-wide start to the sprint car A Feature as 27 cars vie for the crown at the Racesaver IMCA Sprint Nationals.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

There's a reason it is the only 3 wide start anywhere. You guys must like seeing wrecks, and don't care about the drivers or their cars, because there will be some torn up shit. Hopefully no one gets hurt because of a circus act. JMO

Hopefully the "drivers" will mind their manners (called use their heads) at the start like they did last year with no incidents......it was the first year (when they started two wide) that they didn't make it to turn one without a couple taking a tumble at the front of the field. It seems that two wide leaves some racing room and drivers felt they had to be changing lines and try to win the thing on the first lap......with the three wide start last year, everyone stayed in line into turn one, picked their grooves, and then the gloves were off and it was just another race. As far as it being the only three wide start...obviously you've never heard of the Little 500 in Anderson, Indiana where they've traditionally started 33 sprint cars three wide on a quarter mile high banked track for years. Nobody likes to see torn up equipment......with the entries now at 102 cars from 17 states and Canada, it should be another awesome event....but you're right, it's just YOUR opinion.......you should visit Nebraska and check it out...........SC
