Richard and Danny were in the second row at the start but plowed right straight through by turn 1-2 on lap one. Rich looked uncatchable for a while. I didn't see why Dan got by him, but they were already lapping cars at that point. Suddenly, Dan was five or six car lengths a head on the back straight... after being that many behind on the front. And after 6,315 yellows (after every one of which Faria drove off like a jack rabbit), and a lot of dicing through the back markers, Dan remained in front of the very determined Troy R. at the checker. Bud drove his usual, solid, pick-em-off-one-at-a-time deal. (No wonder he won so many of those 50-lap-plus Silver Crown races.)
