We will have the car on display at Route 66 Speedway here in Amarillo on Sept. 8th, and we will get to hot lap it there on the 15th. We are also taking it to the racer reunion Sept. 29th in Wichita Falls.

Pretty neat to work on family cars isn't it? Especially when it's a super. Congrats, you will be envied!
I hope to have my tank at Wichita Falls, it's not as correct as yours but then car counts are car counts.

Great job, Kim sent me pictures this morning. Tell Randy that Jerry and David from Carter-Maxwell said hi.

The reunion in Wichita Falls is on September 29th. I posted the wrong date earlier. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Dad hot lapped the car during intermission Saturday night. It was so nice finally seeing it on the track. I got to drive it on the track after the races, and soon realized how fast 30 mph feels...

Well, you finally got to see Randy Willingham turn laps again. Congratulations! Did he pick up the left front? What were his observations? Did you film it?
Funny thing is, old supers on tape are harder to find than fake bigfoot footage! The only way to fix this is build more supers and film them moving. Be careful though, a race might break out.

He didn't pick up the left front... it was running mighty rich. Although he did get it kind of sideways a few times. The crowd loved it. The only test run we had was when he ran it down the street to make sure the steering and brakes were working right. We jetted it down quite a bit yesterday, and it sounds much better. My wife was going to do video and photos with the digital camera, but the battery went dead shortly after opening the camera.
If anyone has photos or video of the car on the track I would love to see them!
