Didn't Steve Beitler turn one over at Skagit several years ago?
Someone earlier mentioned Jack Hewitt. One of the stories I remember about Hewitt driving one, was that someone asked Ken Schrader if he wanted to ride with Hewitt. Schrader's reply was something to the effect of, "you couldn't talk me out of an electric chair to go for a ride with Hewitt!"

I remember him having a huge smile at the FRC Challenge when TMAC has him out in his two-seater as well,

Terry was the first to give Shawn a ride but he crawled, Jimmy gassed it like he was trying to win a Feature. In defense of Terry he wasn't aware that Shawn is NAILS and you can't hurt the bugger......

It's fiction. The Dave Blaney experience was driven by the guys who owned it, don't recall them ever crashing at Knoxville ever (they did have motor issues as I recall).
I don't recall any two seater at Knoxville ever crashing, but seems like they have a lot of mechanical failures (I do know that Hewitt flipped one somewhere in Ohio I think it was).

I think it was Jack's son Cody that biked his nonwing 2-seater at Terre Haute and flipped it out of the park... nobody riding in the back, luckily.

Yes Chilly, in turns 1 & 2, heck I think even Jack would have been afraid to go with Cody and Jack Hewitt and afraid do not belong in the same sentence, lol....

It was Bobby burrows at Skagit that flipped. If I remember right the rear axle broke. The guy got hurt pretty bad and that was the end of the 2 seated at Skagit
