Why did he come out to the front strech and cover one eye last night?

He was making fun of doug Clark. Just showing the true terry mccarl.  He always throws a fit when things dont go his way. Hopefully someday Knoxville will throw his ass out or dock him some positions when he acts like that. Grade A douche bag in my book! 

What did Clark do or did not do that he got so made about?

Darrah did not take off on the restart putting him and Terry who started right behind him (1st and 3rd) in 6th and 7th by the flagstand at the start of the race. TMAC thought the start should have been called back which it probably should have been.

Start should have been called back. It was awful. Terry had every right to be upset. That start ruined his chance of making the pole dash and the $3000 check it comes along with. If you really think Terry was wrong, then you aren't being objective and probably have a pre-existing dislike of #24.

I would agree. I am not a huge Terry fan at all but that was easily the worst start of the night. Then the next heat that ran get called back for a bad restart even though it was clearly better than this one (I think this one is what some would call a make up call in most sports). Tough to make the judgement call in the spur of the moment though. You want to keep it fair but you won't ever have a perfect start and you have to keep the show moving. The show isnt about watching the officiating like Basketball its about the racing.

It was also somewhat of Darrahs fault that the start was bad. He just didnt speed up or take off at the first orange line on the wall. Terry was in a helpless situation where he had to follow Darrah. He has to rely on the flagman to call starts like those back. It was just missed. We will all move on and Terry will be fine. He is in no way catching the Dude in points!

That start was awful.  K. Swindell passed about 4-5 cars up the middle before he was out of turn 4 as well.  The announcers actually announced that the start would be called back and then when the cars were in turn 2 and the green was still out said "Oh I guess we aren't calling that one back."  The only person that witnessed it that didn't think it was a bad start was Clark I guess.

I never have been a fan of Clarke's flagging. He is terrible on starts and slow to get the yellow and especially the red out when needed.

Tmac has every right to be pissed. It is what he does for a living, and if someone is cheating you out of money you would probally throw a fit too! Plus Terry is not an idiot, he knows by doing that he will most likely sell 1-2 more t-shirts. Tmac is a good guy who is just trying to make a living.

Pretty sure the reaction from the people in the stands tells me that TMac had every reason to be po'd.  

Start was atrocious. Can't believe they let that stand, unless they thought Darrah just didn't take off and they were even when they were supposed to be. Either way, made for an entertaining heat race.

Doug Clark didn't make Darrah not go . He was mad at wrong person and unfortunately did what he did 

If by that you mean not a mccarl fan then your damn right. Have sat there and watched him throw his temper tantrums one to many times and am sick of it. Just like that start he acts like he is the only one on the track that it affected. 

This is how arrogant Doug Clark is. Earlier this year when TMac was in the bad accident with Loyet, Clark was asked why he didn't throw the yellow sooner because McCarl's car was clearly broke coming down the front stretch. Clark's reply was," I don't ever make mistakes". Really? I have alot of respect for Doug Clark and TMac but this start was one of the worst I have ever seen them let go. McCarl had every right to be mad even though I don't agree with his actions. Terry was just trying to get people fired up and get his name talked about so people would be more likely to go to Osky race. 

Start should have been called back for sure. I thought someone else made those calls and Doug was following instruction? Has this changed or am I just misinformed on the workings?
