Awesome weather. Forecast is looking good and it's always nice to sit in the stands and not sweat your A55 off.

The dude does his thing and wins from the front row. He's been the man to beat at Knoxville this year in addition to the NSL tracks.

It was odd seeing Jamie Ball, Justin Henderson, Jon Agan, and BC in the B. I really thought after the red Justin, who was in 12th? at the time was ready for a top 8 finish. After that he went backwards, trying to run a different line.

Clauson may have been one of the fastest guys at the end of the race. He was moving all over the place and was able to pass a few drivers on the top and middle after everyone threw some moisture on the middle of the track from running the bottom.

Speaking of red flags, the wreck by Sawyer Phillips was a bad one. One of the worst I've seen at Knoxville. I didn't see Dakota's last week but heard it was pretty bad too. Sawyer's improving and may be better than Tasker in the long run. Happy to see him walk away from that one.

Track was pretty racey, a little heavy but still could run top, middle and bottom.

Maybe the suprise so far would be Calvin Landis. He's on a roll and his confidence has to be through the roof, with a solid finish at 4th.

Reutzel looked impressive and as many have noted on here, he may be the rookie of the year for the nationals. After last night I dont see why he wouldn't!

Restart line is on the wall in turn 4. Can't pass before the cone.

He was playing games with Reutzel all night on the restart. Starts werent really any different than what we usually see all year. Reutzel either had a tall gear or motor wasnt snappy enough for the slow slow pace the dude brought them to the line on the wall all night. Looked like a slow brake n go and it worked everytime. Reutzel should either hang little farther back and get on it earlier or push his tail tank in Smile Easy for me to say cause Im not driving!

Racing was ok in the feature but man just about all the heat races were boring freight train affairs. I know Knoxville can get it right so I await better track prep tonight. It was tought to stay excited through the heats yesterday though.

Cheers!

The Dude left at least 10 ft before the orange line on the wall on the last two restarts.

Tough to gauge, track was pretty heavy, and not many of hte quick qualifiers made in through their heat races... That was a stout B-main.

Calvin Landis was on a rail before the track really locked down around the bottom. He passed Garner and was catching Friedrichson for third before it became impossible to pass.
