A well written article, something you don't always see from this paper....

This is a well written article. In particular the refrences to the tragedy last year treats it as the accident that it was. Last years headlines used rather strong language and phrasing that had Tony convicted of malice long before any hearings had taken place. Writers at USA Today was among the those that did so. It's good that the paper and the writers recognize the outcome of the findings, and the terrible mental strain that the incident has had to cause Tony. Stay positive, Tony!

There is a Youtube video of an interview with Kevin Ward Sr. at his sons memorial race back in June. He appears to be on his way down the healing road and it was good to see.

I'd post the link but apparently it takes an act of congress to do that on this MB.

No sooner than I posted this the Ward family files a wrongful death lawsuit.  So here we go.

I'm only surprised it took them this long to file but then again it appears they filed when they did for theatrical purposes considering it's nearing the anniversary.

Cheers!

Of course they're going to go after "deep pockets"......never mind the fact that if the kid had stayed in is car, he'd be alive today! I don't mean to be unfeeling, because I'm not....I lost my only son 4 years ago this November. But anymore in this country, it seems no one has to take resposibilities for their own actions. Who is responsible for his getting out of the damn car?! In my mind, it should end right there!
