Went to Orange Show. Tin top racing is alive and well in socal. Tons of Late Models, street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Skid Plate, Street Stock Figure 8's more classes than even Naylor has. Fella told me Irwindale running Late Models same nite. Claimed soil tests at I'dale holding up developement, also said track will run at least thru next year. Doug Bushey doing trackside P/A work, mentioned the "Flying Greek" also doing duty there. They put on a good show, family oriented, tons of kids. A bargain at $10.00, $8.00 for old guys and kids, $3.00 parking. Movie tix $13.95 in some areas, so to bring a family won't break the budget. BTW All kinds of food vendors. More small town feeling as folks seem to know each other.

I have to get to Orange Show, it's only 15 minutes from my in-laws house, but every time I go down there something keeps me from getting to the track, or the track isn't running that night. If the source is reliable, that's good news on Irwindale. Plan on going next week for the Late Model Twins. I've never been there and wanted to get there before it closed. Thanks for the info.

Orange Show is a epic time capsule. The track looks much as it was 60 years ago, with the only change being paved in 1964 and a slight change for pit road exit. The history is great. Everyone should take in a Saturday night at Orange Show. You will not be disappointed.
