Not trying to get anything started, or take a jab, but Tyler Walker might not be able to leave the State of California. I hope that's not the case, and he makes the trip.

While it sounds silly, I have known of many drivers that were afraid of pre-entering for an event. What if I crash the car? What if I blow my good motor? What if the weather is bad? What if.......
For these guys, they would rather pay the extra X dollars instead of being commited for and event that they may not attend.
Most of the guys on this list have enough spare parts of everything to make an event, but it may be some of the same menality.

Does Clint Garner have a 410 anymore? I would be pleasantly surprised to see Clyde Lamar's 3c in Iowa.
Bacon, Shaffer, Sides, Heskin, Bunton and Loyet I would safely assume will be there. Sheldon is lacking a motor I believe, but I hope, with the way he is running, he will be able to find one come Nationals. Speaking of All-Star regulars, I think Ryan Smith was planning on heading out but that was as of a couple weeks ago. I'll ask him Tuesday at Grandview.

Garner hasn't run a 410 at all this year, except subbing for Zomer in the 82 at Husets once I believe. I would bet he's only running 360 Nationals. I don't think the 3c travels much, unfortunately.
Matt Juhl has raced all the NSL races at Knoxville - would think he'd race at Nationals.
Does anybody know the whereabouts of the latest ASCS cast-a-ways (Tony Bruce Jr and Jeff Swindell) ??
Jack Dover has historically not pre-entered 360 or 410 Nationals, yet raced in both.. hope that's the case again this year.

He actually looked real good his first night out at the Grove at a local show. Ran 2nd in his heat and didn't get lapped in the feature when the winner won by 8 1/2 seconds...
Lincoln was even tougher for him...
They changed power plants the last night with the WoO and he had a little more speed. Never got a chance to talk to him more than a hello. I do know he had a great time on the hill and enjoyed his visit albeit less than desired results.

One week away from the 360 Nationals.
As of now there are 91 entries in the 360's but 93 scheduled to Qualify (Thomas Kennedy & Michael Philben are listed as Qualifying on Friday but they are not on the Entries list)
The 410's have 109 Entries as of Wednesday. Some to still watch for not listed yet are
Tim Shaffer
Ryan Bunton
Brad Loyet
Matt Juhl
Jeff Swindell
Jack Dover
Jonathon Allard
Jac Haudenschild (can't imagine him not getting a ride)
Others....?

Chris Martin has been running a 410 pretty much all year - would think he would run Nationals.
Jac just entered yesterday... 1CB car owned by a guy from Nebraska. I hope it's good equipment!?
Other possibilities you didn't list are: Ryan Smith, Danny Holtgraver, Tony Bruce Jr, Joey Moughan, Stu Snyder, Skylar Prochaska, Austen Wheatley, Trey Starks, and Josh Hodges.
If Shaffer, Smith, and Holtgraver enter and show up along with the rest of the All Star cars (Blaney, Darrah, Kemenah, Wilson, Sheldon, PPM, Helms, Danny Smith, Jacobs, McFadden, Foos, and Polyak - plus GT and McFadden) -- that would be 15 out of the top 18 in points... have to think that would be the best All Star turnout ever at the Nationals... (??!) ... would be pretty awesome!

Haudenschilds are driving the Craig Bolz car from Nebraska. It is the one that Sheldon got crashed in on the front straight last year. Sheldon will be in it for the 360's and Jac for the 410's. The 1c car or whatever the number it is, is not a beautiful sprinter with sponsor decals all over it but Craig has a couple of the best motors around. They should do well.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

Ryan Smith is doubtful. Not completely out of the question, but not likely unless they get their other motor back. He said if he wants to go, he wants to do it right.

Agree, he did look very good for his first night at the Grove...think he was close to a top 10 finish in the A. I had never heard of him before, so I looked him up on the 'net when I got home. Sounds like he has done very well in Australia.

Ha! Although, depending on how much the ol' San Andreas slips, there might be a new outbreak in Cali.
