Can't comment about every track in the country but I would say out of the six tracks I've frequented in the PA/MD area I would say Lincoln and Path Valley. I haven't been to susky or trail ways though.

Want to make sure I add this additional input. My opinion is based on the consistency of track conditions and race ability. Seen plenty of good races at other tracks but Lincoln almost always produces great racing. Next choice is path Valley.

I'm admittedly biased, but I hope at least 1 track in WI is on that list.

Cedar Lake for sure.

Agreed. Beaver dam and Angell Park are candidates too, and I love 141 but they are still kind of new and only host 2 IRA shows per year. Hoping that changes in the future.

Not sure what eliott is basing this list off of. Tracks he's seen? Reputation? Poll of drivers?
Should make for some good debate regardless. It's a good idea.

Johnny G. has stated it many times that this is his favorite track & I agree. River Cities is the raciest track of them all. Unfortunately it a long way from most other tracks, otherwise it would be on everybodys list. If it was in Iowa or PA, no doubt it would be at the top of this list.

I went through the list of tracks I've been to and came up with this list. I haven't been to River Cities, Eagle, Tulare and a few others alot of folks talk up. Also, this list is based on the best a track can be, not how it is normally. For example, the Grove Friday, you're not likely to see much better 410 sprint car racing, Saturday, you had leaders struggling to pass lapped cars....
In no order:
Knoxville |
Williams Grove |
Susquehanna |
Port Royal |
Silver Dollar |
Dirt Track at Charlotte |
Skagit |
Grandview |
Eldora |
Lernerville |
I-55 |
Cottage Grove |
Waynesfield |
Fremont |
Calistoga |
Kokomo |
Attica |
Limaland |
Lawrenceburg |
KC/Atomic |
Beaver Dam |
Cedar Lake |
Cocopah |
Huset's |

Every Brad Doty Classic race at limaland has been great with several slide jobs and crossovers throughout the field. Wish they had more 410 races between the outlaws and all stars.
Attica is great, Eldora, I-55, Kokomo, Lawrenceburg.

I haven't been to anywhere near all the tracks across the country, or anywhere near all the tracks some others on here have been to. But in close to 50 years of attending sprint car racing, I've been to a few. My favorite, hands down, is I-55 at Pevely.

I forgot to say: If you're talking about the raciest.

Just as the drivers list - people will call for Jeremy's head one way or another. But kudos for doing this, looking forward to it.
I'm interested to see how many tracks I've been to on the list. Of the ones I've been to...
Lincoln (PA)
Knoxville
Limaland
Waynesfield
Attica
...are 5 that quickly come to mind.

4 of those 5 made the list as of now. Will be finalizing Monday morning before the release of No. 25 at noon.

It's based on personal experience, driver input and others in the racing community. Definitely the toughest list I've done so far. Criteria is the track must have hosted a national 410 Sprint Car race (WoO, AS, NSL, etc), held a series of events (3 or more) or be a full-time track.

4 of those are on the list as of now. The hardest part about this list is 25-15, not the top 10. There is very little separating the last 10 in and the first 5 out.
