Is there video of this 1st lap tangle anywhere? I missed it because I was taking shelter in my car like a well reasoned sane person as a wicked thunderstorm was bearing down on us.

It was a pretty rough tumble! There is usually only one way to crash at Eldora and that is "Hard"!!!

eldora normally gets everything right but not saturday evening...telling(warning) people about the nasty storm appraching but not opening all the access gates so people were crammed in like cattle trying to exit the speedway and take cover was a poor move, and then on top of it putting cars on the track and try to run heat races was a joke..
here's what the sky looked like right about the same time they were extracting kinser from his car

I agree and I am confused to tell us to exit the place but Ohh by the way bring the first heat onto the speeway while the fans are taking cover

I totally agree with you !! They should of stopped after the 360's time trials .I didn't get to see the opening ceremonies like many other people who went to there campers .bad move by the outlaws and eldora officials !! That is my only complaint of the evening it was a long night but we'll worth it.

Per Smokes racing facebook page, it noted Steve's next race event, Wed, will be evaluated closer to the event.
I seen the event and video, where he walked away, obviously, there was more than meets the eye.
Anyone have any additional details about the KING?
