The "plenty of drivers" that you refer to probably have deep pockets to go with the helmet bag. And, I'm not sure Jac wants to make the kind of commitment with his time that it takes to get involved with a larger scale team.

He looked pretty damn good in an underfunded car at Eldora!

Jac has made a living out of a tough ball game. He has somewhat of his team now with Sheldon, but unless u have someone supplying u 2-3 good motors u r only fooling yourself to race out of pocket. Jac has been a favorite personally 4evr, but his known as a crasher label is the biggest check mark on the resume. Owners see that & he of course understands it.. hope he gets another Jack Elden!!!

Seen Jac race at least a 100 times and only saw him win once. Yeah it was big one, the mopar million, but I still don't get the hype. In fact I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've seen him run anywhere near the front. If he won more, he'd have a ride. Sorry, don't shoot the messenger! LOL

Ran good in the R19 Pink Panther Outlaw ride.. Think he had 5 wins that year and watched him run wild on the cushion at the Spencer Outlaw show for the win.. Last year at the Nationals it didn't look right when the Wild Child was running the bottom... Just sayin'..

In my opinion at Eldora Jac is one of the top five I have seen him up front with an underfunded Wasson #5 and last year he had the Rodgers #7 in the hunt and Gravels results should tell you enough about that car.

This year last to 8th with an ailing car.

Just hope he can get something together for Knoxville and this week at the Grove.

Yeah good point.....12th all time in World of Outlaws wins, nearly 100 combined wins in just the Outlaws and All Stars alone....3 time Kings Royal winner,3 time Gold Cup champion,Mopar Million winner, Historical Big One winner.....what a bum.

Jac is one of those guys who can carry a car....an inferior car. He will push it when others will not or cannot.

He is, what most every sprint car fan wants a driver to be.....On the edge.

Didn't Kenny Jacobs get his car owner upset a few years ago at the Nationals for not being aggresive enough at the finish?

It's just a no win situation sometimes.

I find it interesting that nice guy Jac can't get a quality ride while Sammy gets calls from top teams wanting him to help them out and most of what you hear about Sammy is that he is just a jerk, though a knowledgeable one. It's just interesting how the tail ends of their careers are playing out.

I heard last week the Campbell 16 team had plans to bring Jac back out this weekend but when they lost the motor at Selinsgrove it was hurt pretty bad and Rider could not get it done in time. Suppose to have it ready to go for the Williams Grove National Open with Jac in the car.

Haud jumped in the Miller 6m on Saturday, the day of the Kings Royal, where he drove the car from 24th to 8th earning the hard charger award! Anybody who bashes him doesn't know sprint car racing PERIOD!! Off the track he is one of the best as well...I look for him to be in a quality car at the Nationals although I have no inside knowledge... I keep thinking he may end up in one of the IRP 71 cars
