Ugh! That sucks balls! There was no chance I was going to be able to go but I just hate it for everyone who looks forward to this race. It's one I hope to get to some day. I'm sorry for Brad and everyone who puts so much into this thing. Mother Nature has been a bitch just about anywhere you live in the country. Between all the rain in the South and Midwest with a complete lack of moisture along with relenting heat on the West Cost the bitch must be Schizo.

Sound like the right call for sure. Also appears as though the decision made by Brad and those involved did so with the fans in mind.

Totally agree. It wouldn' make a difference this year but why not use Sunday as a rain date? I'm sure people smarter than me have figured that out but just wondered the reason?

I can't speak to the drainage at every track in the midwest...but I can tell you that where I am there is no drainage system in the world that could handle all the rain we have had over the last 2 months. Rivers that reach flood level at 12 feet have frequently hit 22 feet. The ground everywhere is too saturated to soak in any more. It just keeps happening and happening big every time.
My wife and I watch the show Big Brother. It is on 3 nights a week and this season has been on for about a month. We have yet to get to watch one episode without seeing the severe weather warning map on the bottom of the screen. It has just been ridiculous.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.
