Watched this one from the infield with camera in hand. Video hilites from Cedar Lake Saturday night, great racing. No surprise that Schatz has CLS mastered seeing as it's one of the places he raced 360's at as a teenager.

Only my 3rd race of the season and five years ago I'd have been up to about 30 shows by this time of year. The body doesn't hold up as well at 64 and up to seven grandkids and a ton of other things going on. Didn't see the Friday show, watched the youngest daughter's fiance's band VIA open for Alien Ant Farm that night. Heard the racing was good on Friday and Saturday proved that rumor to be true. Charging batteries as I type, took Monday off so I can stay til the end and savor every minute. Was on a helluva roll with the camera last night for only three races as I caught the checkered flag shot Feature win shot in all three divisions holding the camera veritcally. Try that sometime, it ain't easy. LOL

Saturday's crowd looked big, tonight's crowd was off. Weather was coming so might have kept people back, but also we've seen a shift in the last few years maybe longer of people not wanting to go on sunday night. I think that's why they announced next year would be a 2 day show Fri and Sat.
