The Thursday Show for July 16th is being moved from Rock Rapids to Jackson. So the schedule for speed week will be Sioux Center, Jackson, Fairmont, Jackson.
The Thursday show at Jackson will have JSTS Sprints, HRA Non Wing Sprints and Hobby Stocks.
Before people read into this, there are no hard feelings at all. Everyone at Rocky has been great to work with the past two years that I have leased the track for the Thursday shows. The shows just have not been profitable, and I feel I have a better chance financial wise at my own track.
I really want to thank everyone over there for all there help in putting on the shows the last two years especially Todd Hillbrands and Kevin Debruin.
There are still plenty of 360 shows at Rocky and I think they are mostly on Friday nights which seem to work better that the Thursday Nights have.
We have an awesome line-up the next couple of weeks for the Sprint can fanatics: MSTS this Saturday July 11th, then Speedweek, NSL at the Fair on Thursday Night and on Saturday Night of the Fair, we have the MSTS back and its Hall of Fame Night and the Barb Wieskus memorial.
