Does anyone know what's going on with the 83? Is Roth going to field a car for the month of money?

Craig did an interview on PennLive a week or so ago and even he doesn't know what's going on with the Roth team. As far as he knows the road team is just sitting idle in Fresno. He did say that additional team members had been let go, but he didn't elaborate.

Sounds as if they may be done for the year, or until the outlaws go back out west.

Kyle Hirst won at Calistoga last week in the 83 Roth car. KWS .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

If they are building cars to Dollansky's liking, it would be such a waste, his time has come and gone. They should have never dumped Gravel.

From the sounds of it, I'd say they (Roth) are done for the year as far as the WoO tour. As far as keeping Gravel over Dollansky, I doubt Gravel will ever reach Dollansky's stats. But the problem with the team wasn't either driver. If the Roth team folds that easily, how committed were they in the first place? The Destiny team has no business on the WoO tour, plain and simple. Also, with a proven crew chief (Guy Forbrook) and just a week or so to get up to speed with each other, Dollansky finished 4th (or 5th I'd need to look) at last years Knoxville Nationals. Since then, Craig hasn't all of a sudden forgotten how to get around a track. Don't think for a minute that Dollansky still can't get the job done! Oh....and I do think Gravel has talent.
