My car died and is in Stanley's shop awaiting a starter transplant so I am having to be chauffeured by my wife. Took me to Wichita Saturday night so I could cover the NCRA late model race for them and she took me to SFS tonight to watch the races. I really wanted to go to Clinton so, since you were there, I want results immediately. Also a full race report would be good too.

All I can give you is the top 6.
1.) Nicholas Littlejohn
2.) Randy Timms
3.) Alan Oliva
4.) Brad Worely
5.) ??? Mitchel (Blue 58 car)
6.) Rodney Sanders
I'll give you a short write up tomorrow. I'm exhausted so I'm heading to bed.

Randy Timms and Nicholas Littlejohn had to come up through the B because of mechanical problems in qaulifying Saturday. Timms broke something in his first heat and left for the night. Littlejohn broke something in both of his heats. Timms ran away with the B with Littlejohn finishing second. Brian Rowland looked to be a strong contender but blew his motor on the last lap of the B.
In the A Rodney Sanders started on the pole and I believe lead around 27 of the 30 laps. Meanwhile Littlejohn worked his way up into the top 5. Timms tried working the bottom but without much luck. He finally jump to the high side and started moving up through the pack. Oliva and Brandon Kenny had good battle going for several laps. Oliva running the high line and Kenny using the middle of the track. The two ran side by side and battled back and forth for several laps until Kenny broke something and pulled his car into the infield. Timms working the the high side of the track worked his way into 2nd but Sanders had more than a straight lead. Timms seemed to be gradually reeling Sanders in and once Sanders got into lapped traffic the distance between the two closed quickly. A yellow flag came out with 3 laps to go (believe for Kenny). If I remember correctly the top 5 at the yellow were Sanders, Timms, Littlejohn, Oliva, and WORLEY (ha ha sorry about the misspelling earlier). When the race went back green Sanders held off Timms but the yellow came out again. On the restart Timms and Sanders battled for the lead with Sanders holding Timms off for one lap. Timms took the lead using the high side of the track coming off turn two. Another yellow came out and when the green flag dropped for the final time Timms and Sanders switched lines going into turns one and two with Timms diving low and Sanders jumping up to the high side. Sanders bobbled in between turns one and two and Timms got a little crossed up in turn two. Littlejohn took full advantage of this and powered his way past the two to take the lead coming out of turn two. Littlejohn continued to hold on to the lead for the remaining laps.

You're welcome. It's okay. I didn't take it that way.
Mods: I think 18 mods started the feature. I know that there were at least 4 new mods that showed up last night. So I'm going guess around 20.
Limiteds: I believe there around 16 or so (could be wrong).
Pros: 5
Factories: 10 + 1 demo derby car. Ha ha.
The mod feature was great! The limited feature was okay. The other two were less than thrilling.
On a sad note the announcer made no mention of the USMTS race there and this morning I noticed that the USMTS took Clinton off the Southern Series schedule.
