I would like to know who ran the show at I-96 Speedway Wednesday night for the World Of Outlaws? Is it I-96, SLS Promotions or World Of Outlaws. There was no reason for the A-Main to be pushed of at 11pm with the amount of cars that were there. I watched families leave before the A-Main because it took way to long to run the show. Not a good way to win fans! Plus if you wanted me to spend more money at the consession stands, that did not work either. Seems like every year the show at I-96 is strung out so long. Maybe it is time for me to travel out of my state to watch sprint car racing at tracks and with promoters that respect my time.

SLS was the promoter - I would contact them with any complaints. I was not there but listening on Dirtvision it sounded the track was overwatered which caused a delay in the program with 2 sets of hot laps for all the cars. Not sure who controlled the keys to the water truck but people would have complained if it was blowing dust in hot laps.

The track was a mess to begining. Very dusty by the A-Main. The show should not have take. As long as it did.

SLS Promotions were the promoters, but they folks in the equipment was I-96's usual crew. Who was telling them to do what, I am not sure.
I thought the track was looking pretty good when we got there, then they kept putting water on it, and it would not pack. Then after they got started, after the WoO heats, it did seem like they were dragging it out.
But, talking about going out of state to watch sprint car racing, many of us have been doing that for a long time. Either crap track conditions, or seven support classes, it makes it tough to enjoy the racing here. Hartford put on a good show last friday with a slick track, and beat the rain. SOD a-main was done before dark.

I've been to alot of dirt tracks, this was, however, only the 2nd Outlaw race ever attended and first time at I-96. I thought it was a great show beginning to end. Sat in the first turn reserved, never heard anyone around us complain about the time. Did drag around my butt at work in Maumee Ohio the next day tho. lolol
