I am sure the car count will be fine. My estimate is 28-32 which is plenty to put on a good show.

I agree with 28-32 being plenty, but i dont know about a good show. You wont have Brown, Madsen, McCarl, Balog or any of the other guys now running the NSL who have run this show in the past, or run occasionally with the IRA. It will be a handful of WOO drivers and a bunch of IRA. I predict a snoozer, with 24-28 cars, most being IRA.

Hey larryitis--long time no see. I will be seeing you there. I hear they have cold beer there whether there are 20 cars or 40 cars. is that true?

You can easily see why Balog always wins local IRA shows but has no chance with the WoO's. Good show. Schatz wasn't even in the dash. Started 10th I think. We weren't even watching him and then all of a sudden there he is on Saldanas ass out of nowhere. Unreal. Some of those IRA cars are pretty good. They need to put better drivers in them. They are around. For instance, put Donny Goedon in the 14. Maybe they don't care if they are competitive though.

I thought it was a very good show. Great? Probably not. But very good. Track was nice and had two different lines at each end of the track. The best part? The races were very clean all night. Usually when this happens, the track will stall and wait and make crap up and take all the time they possibly can to sell one more beer or burger. Beaver Dam did not do this last night. They rolled the show right along and I believe were done prior to 10:15. Had time to take my son down to the pits and even had a beer at the truck before leaving. Nice sized crowd too--as always. Kudos to BD Raceway.

Goeden!?! Maybe 15 years ago. Now he is too busy trying to reinvent himself as the local celebrity running at Plymouth in a MSA 360, against developing drivers and budget operations. I'll take half the current IRA field anyday over that bum.

If he drove the 14 he'd be leading the points and winning races guaranteed.
