Yeah glad for Brad....but you know the kicker? schatz beat himself tonite, in all accounts he should have won that race, even came back to 2nd after slipping off the track with 2 to go, and came back from being penalized on a restart with only 5 laps to go....very impressive
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

Yes, Donny beat himself tonight.
Just nice to see a different car in the winners circle.
The show ran way to long for the amount of cars.

Sammy has put himself in pretty decent position to have a good finish in the JJR ride a few times, but has faded in the feature. Not sure if he threw a setup at it that didn't stick, or what. The race at Denison comes to mind, as well as last night. Has to be frustrating...

Schatz is definitely on his game and it is a rare occasion he beats himself. I was headed out for the show tomorrow night but the forecast doesn't look favorable.

Yeah, I don't know Sammy's set-up problem but he has a problem finishing up front even when he starts up front. I support him but the skills have faded, I believe, to be competitive at this level. We'll see what he does in his next ride but this year will be it for him if he can't finish any better in really good equipment. Hey, skills fade with age and it happens to everybody. He's been my favorite driver for 40 years so I am not "slammin'" Sammy. I really hope he proves me wrong at some point.

I-96 Speedway is a joke.
They over watered the track, hour late starting, after 3 woo heats huge curbs in 1-2 and 3-4.
Bring out road grader and other track equipment.
Mod heats were spin out enduros.
After woo b main more track work.
25 minute intermission.
Mod feature another spin out enduro.
Not sure how you can blame Woo for that mess of a track, whose owner is only worried about selling hot dogs and beer.
As far as the 15 car, 49 set him up on that restart. 49 never fired. He should have been sent back.

The leader, 49 car, sets the pace, and he controls the start. The 15 car left first, and it is why he got called. There is a chalk line in turn four, and the leader is suppose to be there first. Initial starts they seem to want them side by side, but in the drivers meeting they did say the leader sets the pace and controls the starts on restarts.
The rest of what you said was spot on. Why in the hell they let that white modified with all the front body damage stay on the track is beyond me. He caused two more cautions. Also the other mod who pulled across the track in front of the field in turn 1.
The dash alone was worth the price of admission. Some pretty good sprint car racing, just sucks it was so late.

Gut slick to a foot curb, and we're going bitch about the track... That's mind boggling. I thought the track was great. Sweet tamed the curb, was a man's elbows up track, a rare occurrance in the WoO

I find it rather ironic that the Outlaws show one restart but not the one in question when Schatz supposedly jumps. I also noticed that Johny states trouble right in front of the leader (49) but in all reality the guy is flipping right behind him.

Yes , its nice to see a different winner but right now Donny Schatz and team are on top and it will be hard to beat him unless track, starting position or unforseen situations come into play . WoO is favoring the Schatz team with tire selection , as they have been in the process of what tire to use for the season in regards to rules . I say this is not racing at its best , again I say Pa needs to split until the WoO RIDES INTO TOWN then run there rules , other drivers have said the same thing , besides me .
