If you could name a race track, regardless of locaiton, what would be some names that come to mind for something unique?

names like:

Eldora : In Spanish the meaning of the name Eldora is: Blond or gift of the sun. A name given to many saints

Manzanita :  Manzanita is a common name for many species of the genus Arctostaphylos. They are evergreen shrubs or small trees present in the chaparral biome of western North America.

Others?

Placid Grove-  Small 1/4 Mile in Weed, California. Slow sweeping track with a tunnel on the front stretch, the reefer hill gang resides in turn two showing their pleasures to outsiders by throwing flowers at them on the race track.

You want unique?   About an hour south of Abilene, Texas is a town by the name of Bronte.    At one time Bronte had a track by the name of Dead Cow Speedway.

The track in West Plains Missouri just changed names this year to Legit Speedway.  There also used to be a track in Tunica, Ms called Good Buddy Speedway.

McCuthensville Speedway in Ohio (long defunct) was scheduled to open up as the OK Corral Speedway one year...it never did.

Yes there was!   It was only called Good Buddy for a very brief few weeks.   This is basically the old Delta Bowl Speedway southeast of Tunica.   After sitting idle for some time, a guy reopened it about four or five years ago.    That name was his idea, although I can't be sure what inspired it.   He only ran two or three shows and then it shut down again and has been idle ever since.

Ironically, I was out there the day that Good Buddy opened.    I was in Memphis that weekend going to a USCS race at West Memphis.    I was staying at Harrah's in Tunica.   I decided to go exploring and see if I can find that track on that Saturday morning.   Not only did I find it, but they were in there working on it since they were opening as Good Buddy that night.   They let me in there to look at the track close up.   I was impressed, it was a very nice facility and looked like a very fast race track.   I'd love to see the Outlaws on it.     Last I heard, the track is overgrown and everything is starting to rust and fall apart.
