Raced our late model sat nite. Pits def looked better. If it stays packed then cool deal.. But I dont expect that material to hold up with the bigger rigs on fri nites. Then we mite have a problem with the shit being drug out onto the track. But with one nite and probaly 70-80 total cars, the track stayed pretty clean. And the track prep was nice for being how warm it was. Thanks to WG for yet another improvement.

This is a tough one because the guy who pays the bills can do whatever he pleases. But Ive been getting on that guy from the midwest that says it doesnt make sense financially to come to wg in oct. It doesnt make sense financially. But racing as a whole doesnt make sense financially. Mikes a great guy, so is greg hodnett, so is brian brown, but come on guys... its better for the sport when you show up to the big races.. You cant possibly tell me that youd rather run a NSL show than the national open. As far as im concerned there shouldnt be a single track that has 410s on it during the 5-10 biggest shows. Knoxville, eldora, wg, etc. You have 100 cars at all the top races. People talk about growing the sport....think about that for sec...our triple crown with 100 cars at each race. Cant go wrong.

I agree with your last part: That there should be a triple crown and no other series/track should run 410s that weekend. But as far as the NSL, I can understand Brown doing it. The NSL show pays $10,000 at a place Brown knows well. He is also in the hunt for a hefty point fund on top of it. Considering those factors, it makes perfect sense for him to support the NSL Series.
