So ibracn.com has Sammy in a CJB car for around 12 races after filling in at JJR. I wonder if this is a small test for the rumored 2nd car at CJB? Also, if you look at the schedule he could start at the BDC at Lima, skip Canada and finish up at the Nationals and not do a ton of travel. Thoughs...

The landscaping business must be doing well...not a ton of sponsors on the 51.
It makes sense in that with limited investment Sammy has the ability to win some of the big paydays coming up or at least finish well enough to not lose your rear end.

Wonder if Sammy would be just testing the car out this year and Saldana take the full ride next? Since the Saldana to CJB rumors have been floating around this year.

I hope he kicks all of there asses. My spirits lift every time I see him in the line up. Plus when him and the King show up that means there are two more cars on the roster.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Not sure how stupid it is. If memory serves me correctly, didn't Sammy throw a dirty slider on Paul McMahan (no less than his new teammate) at Charlotte on live TV and take him out? Then he gets on the microphone and blames in on McMahan. That's why people say some of the things they do about Sammy on this forum. I also remember McMahan saying "he's been driving like an idiot all year". Yeah, they'll be great teammates I'm sure.

So, before all the Sammy loving and hating talk... It now looks like Jason Johnson can resume driving on July 1st at Lakeside. This COULD set Sammy up for the 2nd CJB car at the Doty, skip Canada and finish up somtime around Knoxville. That schedule would let the team hit the big money shows with a big money driver and not a ton of travel expense or 2nd car expenses.
I certainly hope it goes well and leads to a 2nd car next year. Although I think we have seen owners get a little over extended in the past so I hope a 2nd car would not jeopardize the 1st car.

yeah I remember the heat race at Charlotte when darrah wished it was more like hockey. Bet that would have turned out well for him. And that was several years ago. Not saying every move has been clean, but who can really say that. You're referencing one heat race that happened several years ago. he must still be worth something to the guys that actually race if they are wanting to put him in a car. Just saying. We could go back and forth showing dirty slide jobs of pretty much anyone that races. So what's the point. If this is in fact true that he will be driving for CJB I highly doubt that they are going to put someone in a sister car that Paul doesn't like. What's the point anyway. I'm sure I'll get a bunch of dumbass responses on this too.
