I was told this from the guy who setup the first Eastern Storm. Some of you know him, Some of you don't but I'll leave names out and Im sure the people doing it now face the same problems.
Not many tracks are willing to run their non regular night, Let alone take on a big purse and sanction. This is probably why Miller had the races and not the tracks themselves. Sometimes it takes a few years for events to turn profits. Chili Bowl itself lost its first two years. Now they're making a fortune and have been for some time.
I don't think you'll have to worry about it being held again, But I do worry how many teams will be willing to tow out there. Get six nights of motels, food etc.
Hope it don't hurt it too much.
