At least he was man enough to take his lumps in the interview. I respect him more now. Still an atrocious decision and I will be very reluctant to support his races going forward, but props to him for admitting his mistake.

True, although he loses credibility also for basically using a weather apps hourly forecast to make his decision. Anyone whose "business" is weather dependent should know that is the last place you should rely on. Not to know this in 2015 is ignorance.
speaking of the media/social media age in which we live, Susky. New Egypt and Usac have all sent facebook messages and tweets out today letting fans know that Miller is in no way involved with the rest of the Eastern Storm shows. They are publicly distancing themselves from him which should tell you all you need to know about what they see in him and his reputation right now.

Wow, People are acting like this is some kind of conspiracy, its very easy to say " I would have done this or that" but until your the one making the decisions you have no clue. Unless you can predict the future there is no way to be sure when making a weather decision. Im so happy Usac comes to this area once a year that I can give this guy a break, he was trying to do the best he could and made 2 bad calls and he regrets it. If USAC raced at Lincoln next week and His name was on the race I would go and so would everyone else on here saying they will never go to another Bob Miller event.

It is simple, you don't cancel a race because of a forecast, if it's not raining you do not cancel period!! He is not the only promoter to make this kind of dumb call on a forecast, scared money won't make money!

last time I checked, a conspiracy by definition involves more than one person "conspiring" to commit ___ fill in the blank.
everybody has been casting blame on ONE PERSON...who decided to take full credit for it...

I don't think it is a conspiracy, the decisions were horrible last year during the event with rain coming the show was slowed to a crawl after all qualifying was in. Ask the URC drivers how they feel about him, they basicaly banded together and started their own series to get away from him. He has a track history of making decisions that are only good for him. It is not just one thing but many that have people so upset with him.
