$20,000 Red River Speedway "HIT THE RESET BUTTON 115" - Fri. June 5!
Wichita Falls, TX (5/31/15) by DarinShort.com. For race fans, race teams and the race track itself, 2015 has been a grueling season due to all of the rainouts.
We're all thankful that excess rains the past two months have put an end to the drought, but we're also thankful the new emerging weather pattern appears to be more suitable for racing on more of a consistent basis.
So, it is time to HIT the RESET BUTTON for 2015 at RED RIVER SPEEDWAY (RRS) - THIS FRIDAY, June 5 - as we will commemorate the hurdles we've all cleared with the running of the "Hit the Reset Button 115"; featuring six divisions of racing - with the sum of their feature races totaling 115 laps!
PLUS, there is ADDED PURSE MONEY in ALL 6 DIVISIONS, yet, NO ADDED adult ticket prices or pit pass prices! $20,000 in total purse money is posted!
The Sprint Cars and Modifieds will each be racing for $1,000 to win (25 lap features) and $125 to start (24th)! The Limited Modifieds will be racing for $600 to win (20 laps) and $75 to start (24th); while the Pro Stocks, Mini Stocks and Factory Stocks will each be racing for $400 to win (all three are 15 laps)!
There are NO driver entry fees or increased adult ticket prices for this event, so round up all the neighbors and fellow racers - and let's all have a great time at the races!
Adult tickets (ages 12-64) are just $12! Kids prices are reverting back to posted 2014 prices; which are ages 5 and under free, while ages 6-11 are $5. Seniors/Active Military (with ID) are $8. All pit passes for all ages are $30.
The Sprint Car and Modified purse structures are both the same, and are as follows: $1,000 - 500 - 400 - 350 - 300 (5th) - 250 - 225 - 200 - 190 - 180 (10th) - 170 - 160 - 150 - 140 - 135 - 130 - 125...to 24th to start. All Sprint and Modified non-qualifiers receive $50. RaceSaver Sprint Car rules, or, 100% Red River Speedway legal Champ Sprint rules. Your car must be either RaceSaver or RRS Champ Sprint legal; no mix-and-matching of rules. Modifieds must be USRA rules legal.
The SportMod purse structure is as follows: $600 - 300 - 250 - 200 - 175 (5th) - 150 - 130 - 120 - 110 - 100 (10th) - 90 - 85 - 80 - 75...to 24th to start. All non-qualifiers receive $30. All IMCA SSM rules apply.
The Mini Stock and Pro Stock purse structures are both the same, and are as follows: $400 - 200 - 180 - 160 - 140 - 120 - 100 - 80 - 70 - 60 - 40...to 24th to start. All non-qualifiers receive $20.
Factory Stock purse structure: $400 - 200 - 100 - 50 - 40...to 24th. As this division grows, so will their purse in the middle of the pack.
All posted rules at http://www.RRSpeedway.com will be in effect for all race divisions. Mufflers or cone-type inserts are required for all cars in all divisions.

And for Modified drivers traveling to the TOMS event at Southern Oklahoma Speedway the following day, this event/hotel combo makes for a great opener to your weekend! It will also give those teams a 'warm-up' to the RRS TOMS event set for Friday, August 21st.
Here are the top-line specifics of the FRIDAY JUNE 5th "HIT THE RESET BUTTON 115" at RRS:
-Pit Gates open by 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw Cutoff at 7:15pm, with Racing by 8pm.
-Adult Grandstand (ages 12-64) tickets are $12. Seniors/Active Military (with I.D.) $8. Ages 6-11 are $5. All pit passes, all ages $30.
-If you have yet to register your car for the 2015 RRS season, you can do so upon your arrival; but please try to get there early, as we will be staying on schedule.
