Hi there
Can anyone help with a brief summary of the current Knoxville weekly regular show format? I can't find a summary anywhere on their website or anywhere else on the web for that matter.
I get there's an invert of 24 on time trial (meaning an invert of 6 in each heat) and they take 5 to the A, but looking at last weeks results I can't figure out how they line up the Feature. Redraw? How many get in the redraw?
Thanks in advance!

Top 8 in TT that make it through their heat redraw... redraw is for all classes.. ie, if 305 QT draws 5th, that's where 360 & 410 QT start too, (if they qualify through their heat). New rule this year is that top 2 in the B get their time spot back in the A behind top 8.. so could start 9th & 10th in A. The rest of the field is lined up by time.. 3rd & 4th in B tag the tail. Hope that was helpful??

"New rule this year is that top 2 in the B get their time spot back in the A behind top 8.. so could start 9th & 10th in A" Dumbest rule trend in Sprint Car racing. IMO results during actual "RACING" matter more than qualifying from a fans perspective.
I'm a Brian Brown fan, and if He's a #1 Qualifier and cant pass ONE car in the heat, he doesnt deserve to start 9th after qualifying for the A out of the B. Yes you can argue the track would generally be narrow in a heat race, but you can also argue the luck of the draw for your qualifying position (even with Knoxvilles Group Qualifying format). I'm sure the guys who benefit from it love the rule, but it caters more to the big teams than if being the same for everyone.
And IMO also hurts the overall show. Who doesnt like to see someone who SHOULD be up front driving thru the field because they made a mistake in the heat? Seems like thats pretty much the gist of the Knoxville Nationals which has proven be successful.
