May 30th should be at the top of your racing calendar as the Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals will be held next Saturday. Eagle Raceway is pleased to have the ASCS National Tour back again to take on the high banks of "America's Home Track".
The Eagle Nationals is an annual event where the top 360 winged sprint car drivers in the country show up to take on the locals at the world's fastest 1/3 mile.
Who will come out victorious this time around? Johnny Herrera has come home second 3 of the last 4 A mains, so possibly this is his year. Or, could a local take home the big check like Jack Dover did in 2011? You'll just have to show up and find out for yourself.
Also on the card are the Kaplan University IMCA Modifieds and Sam's Club IMCVA Sport Compacts. IMCA points are on the line and those races will be draw/redraw.
Front gates open at 5:30 with racing starting at 7 P.M. Adult front gate admission is $20, youths 6-12 are just $5 and children 5 and under are free. Or, you can obtain discounted adult tickets at http://www.tbjpromotions.com/shopping/productDetails.aspx?i=749745&c=7686
Pit gates open at 4 P.M. with pit passes costing $30.

It looks like Mother Nature is going to smile on us for Saturday. All prediction of the "R" word has been removed from the forecast.
Come on out and enjoy some great racing on the high banks of Eagle Raceway!!!
