She drove away from everyone on a bunch of restarts, IMPRESSIVE. Glad I witnessed, another very good job by the Cushion folks! Henderson winning the 410 A has been impressive every time he's on the track no matter the class. Knoxville were about to have an early night until the Features, oops, not much you can do about reds & yellows. Knoxville weekly PPV is the best deal in Sprint Car Racing....

McKenna did a great job running her race and really was the best 305 car out there. I doubt this will be her only win there. The crowd was really into it. After all the grief they took for running until after midnight last week, they sure looked like they were in a hurry last night. Most races went green before the cars made it twice around the track from the push lane. They must not have informed the drivers this was going to happen because they seemed to be surprised when the pace truck pulled off and they weren't close to being in formation by turn 3. The next race was launched before the previous one's cars had even left the track. Thye cleaned up wrecks fairly quickly. The intermission was much shorter. Assuming they maintain this approach and the drivers know its coming, it really should speed things up and get everyone out at a decent time. The other thing that stood out was it seemed like the safety crew has been cut dramatically. I seem to rememeber more people in yellow on the track's edge during the parade laps. Anyone know if this is the case?
