When I left the area around 7, it was beautiful out For about an hour. So at 6 it was nice, and starting to dry out. You're telling me they couldn't push the program back just a hair to give it time to dry out? Or was it a case of the outlaws didn't want to run on a track with moisture so they left on their own and cancelled it themselves?

Makes sense, professional race car drivers don't want to race. Good call.

They did it at bubba's last year?? They didn't like the track conditions so they pulled out. Gain some knowledge.

I was in the parking lot when the initial rain came. You knew it was time to leave. But had already been to Lincoln and the Grove. Went to Hagerstown on the way home. Hadn't been at Hagerstown since Keith's last win. Had a pleasant visit but it's just not the same without sprint cars. And they were still racing at Winchester when I went past. This week looks like USAC at the Indy Fairgrounds, ASCoC at Plymouth, Little 500, Kokomo and WoO at Lawrenceburg. Some backups are already planned, just in case.
