I know verizon has MavTV on HD.   Sucks these cable/satelite companies hold us hostage.   I know verizon will screw me again the next time I gotta renew, but what other companies offers MavTV on HD, u would think there would be enough dirt fans, gear heads, etc so that cable companies would want to offer it.   After having MavTV for a few months, I would hate to be without it.  Sure wished MavTv could be streamed.  (probably can)

Goodluck

Directv still carries MavTV. So, there's an option. I would take great joy in telling a Dish representative why I am changing to the competition if I was in that position. I've had Directv for 15 years and will never go back to cable.

Is Direct HD or sd?, i would likely switch next X-mas if mavtv is another provider in my area, wished TImeWarner had it.

Sometimes it easy to blame the cable companies, i wonder if MavTv is not doing there part, but i assume they are.

It is SD so that is a downside. I am not sure why HD isn't available.

MavTV is awesome, it would be hard to live without it, and I am willing to pay extra $ for it.  Good luck for those that are looking to get it, I know verizon in Ventura carries it on HD
