Why? What's going on there?
Certainly not any type of strategy, being 2nd in points and heading into Suchy's old stomping grounds.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Behind the times Cube, happened almost two weeks ago. Already won in Oklahoma without him.

Wasn't a smart move. Still should've at least waited until after the PA swing.

Depends on who decided to split. If Larson/Marks decided to get rid of Steve, then yes, might have been better to wait. But maybe it was Steve that wanted a change, why should he wait another 3 weeks if he's miserable (or has other matters to attend to, or wants to get off the road and do something else completely).
Unless we have $$$ in the car/team, it's none of our business. I just wish Steve the best in whatever he is doing and hope Shane and the team continue to run good (right now he's the best of the rest behind Schatz).

Your right ,why didn't they wait ? there is more to this , then whats come out so far . Where will Steve Suchy land ? that is the question , but I think he might have got tired of the traveling ? maybe ? but I guess it will come out eventually

If true, that's stupid.
Why take the job in the first place when you know the travel schedule is grueling? Obviously the pay was cut if he did indeed go to another team.

This is Steve's deal what he wants out of life is his deal! How does anyone on here know what he made or wanted. I truly doubt that the $ on an outlaw team were much different then what he made from Darrah. Darrah employed him for years, and even after Cody went to Kahne, left him provide for Larson, time and equipment.

It is known on the tour that Steve wishes not to travel.
I wonder why one would take a crew chief's job with a WoO team if he did not want to travel!

I wouldn't want my home base to be in NC. That's not exactly the central part of the sprint car universe. That's alot of trips up and down I-77. JMO.
