For anyone who has not been to the new Sharon Speedway , I suggest you atend either the All Star race on June 23RD or July 11 for the Lou Blaney Memorial, $10,000 to Win event . Many new updates have taken place since it was a 1/2 mile as it is now a 3/8 of a mile speedway, a new grandstand , clean modern restrooms conveniently located on each floor of grandstand , recently resurfaced with new clay, computerized concession stands , a lower admission price at $10.00 for weekly events , beer now being sold , new qualifying procedures and some other items have been installed at one of the most progressive venues that is fan and family friendly .
