Looks like they brought their A game to central Pa this weekend. Blaney ran 3rd at Williams Grove, Darrah wins Port, and Kemenah wins Path Valley over Caleb Helms. I know there will be some idiots among us who point out that Darrah cut his teeth in Pa and he did, but, he's still an All-Star now and how about Kemenah? Its been a rough couple of years for him and I was really happy to see him get a big win on posse soil. That has a to be a huge confidence builder for him. Point being, I know the ASCoC have taken a beating at times for their record at Williams Grove but I think they proved this weekend that they are to be taken seriously. I've been attending sprint car races on Posse soil for almost 3 decades now and its always been tough to win here for anyone so for them to come and have their guys win 2 of 3 races to me is pretty impressive. Interesting stat: of the 4 races held at Path Valley since 2012, only 1 of those has been won by a Posse driver and that was Billy Dietrich who won in 2013. The other 3 went to Cole Duncan, Brady Bacon and Chad Kemenah.

Path Valley? I don't think Posse is used to bullrings. Bacon's win there last year was my favorite Speedweek race, he's driven lots of bullrings with the wingless sprints

My point exactly. Things are a bit different when the posse guys are up against good competition on a track that they don't race every week.

Darrah looked pretty good at Path also but took it high to go around a lap car and got sucked in the marbles

Glad to see Caleb Helms have a good run. He has plenty of courage...but needs to learn to keep it undercontrol consistently...
Some All Stars had a bad weekend...Wilson and Paulker and Price-Miller had some rough luck!

I think the more glaring "problem" is that the Posse are down, and it has been going that way the past 5 years. Look at the car owners that have left. Hamilton, Harz, Leach and Klines and Zemco has cut back.. Thank goodness for Heffner and Jerry Parish, otherwise the field would be pretty thin.
The fact is there are a lot of drivers who never "made it" who are in their 30's. This is in contrast to the old guard of Rahmer, DeWease, Hodnett and Kreitz. If the PA wants to get back on top, they better hope that some of the drivers in their 20's who are showing some promise, decide that being the top dog in PA is better (and more lucrative) than being on the road. Wolfe is a good example.
