Cody put on a great show last night! There was no hesitation in his lapped traffic driving. Wish Dietrich and Hodnett could have raced the feature. Of course, I was cheering for the Beefmobile #29!!
Next year's 2-day Weikert Memorial over Memorial Day weekend will be great All-Star deal. Glad to see Tony Stewart at the track last night although I wasn't surprised a bit!!

Next year's two-day event isn't sanctioned yet. The All Stars will keep the date and have the option of sanctioning the Memorial Day Weikert Memorial.

Doesn't Fremont have a traditional Memorial Day weekend show for the All Stars?

There are two points that indicate it is a sponsorship issue, well three.
First, KKR hasn't put a third car on the track. Second, why would they bring Cody back to run the primary car if they didn't have some faith in him? Third, KKR has struggled to get sponsorship for Brad Sweet's car.
Being purely objective, is Cody a Daryn Pittman or Brad Sweet. No. But remember, he is 25. It's not like he is 30-40, which seems to be when most Sprint Car drivers hit their stride.
