Hurst was already out of the 83jr. Roth was just running it for the Cali swing. Hirst was running the 35 car in KWS.

the 83jr was driven by hirst for two seasons with two championships in the KWS series. back to back if my memory servesme correctly but then??? someone will fill that slot as i believe roth has a commitment to run the entire season with KWS.

Roth didn't commit to KWS that why Hirst was running the 35. I don't believe that any real reason was given.

They don't have a team to run a full season with the Jr car and that's why Kyle went to the 35 car... now, he's been given this chance. I wish them the best..

Good luck to Kyle in the 83 traveling with the Woo! he is a great driver and should do well! I also hope that Sean Becker gets back the 35 car and races with the KWS :-)
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Gravel is a proven winner on the WOO, hirst is a good driver but dennis Roth is a fucking idiot.

And it is car and money and he can do what he wants. When you get big pants and money you can do the same.

Yeah yeah... daddy warbucks can do as he pleases no debate there... however everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and my opinion is that his cry baby BS like this will ensure that he NEVER owns a WoO championship trophy... which ironically is what I believe chaps his miserable old ass the most... lol!!!
Maybe he should consider a number change also... 4a seems like a good fit???

The two time King of California has paid his dues and deserves to be on the road with the Outlaws. Hirst is a realy good kid who is taking over the Roth 83 due to Gravel not even close to the point lead after the Cali swing. This gives Kyle a chance to get his feet wet on all the tracks the WoO runs in the mid west and the east coast. Dennis Roth doesn't just fire people for no reason... It's about giving a deserving Californian a shot at the big leauges. Not about pissing off Gravel fans. TK won for Roth in last years equipment. Gravel had his shot in all new stuff and wadded up some good cars. I would have made the same exact desision. Have fun this summer Kyle, and learn as much as you can.
As far as the 83jr...I'd go with the two time and defending Taco Bravo champ/Defending Civil War Champion. As for the vacant 35m left by Hirst...I'd go with the top dog at Red Bluff who is ready for 410's.

its a great deal for Kyle. Followed him for several years, three or more ago, when he moved to Mo and was running the midwest tracks to gain the much needed seat time there. had a long chat with him at the STNat's
in Little Rork @ 1-30 Speedway and he said "i just wanted to gain the experience!"
Looks like it paid off...
