It's that time again...

Last year at this time, many of us speculated as to who was gonna show up to run with the World of Outlaws traveling 15, and who might possibly shed a wing to do double-duty, or who may actually attempt to add a barn door to their traditional ride to collect 16th place money (haha...just kidding folks...well, not totally...lol).

Unfortunately, the King of the West scheduled a race in Tulare on top of the WoO show at PAS last year, and we only had WoO regulars.  It was a real bummer car-count-wise, but at least we got to see Sammy and Steve together one last time.  I can't recall any crossover...anyone adding or removing a wing (I do realize they don't do that...they run separate cars...but you get my drift).

I can't think of many candidates to travel south from the Valley to run the wing show.  The best bets are Kyle Hirst, Dominic Scelzi, Johnathan Allard or Carson Macedo...but they typically have stuff going on up north to keep them busy without having to travel that far.  Rico is at Bristol.  Tim Kaeding has left to start the new National Sprint League (NSL).  Brent Kaeding hasn't traveled in years.  Willie Croft hasn't come down yet (I don't think...could be wrong)...and the others in the Top 10 in points are not typically likely to venture south either.  Bud Kaeding has a long road to haul...but it's possible if the family needs a Disneyland fix.  We may pick up Randy Waitman...I know he's been practicing at the PAS recently.

As for CRA guys...I think we're gonna see the regulars in that show as well...which is fine with me.  Can't see any "wing" guys running with them...but it would be a nice surprise.  I wonder if Jimmy May still has a wing in the shop...and if so, if he has a shoe that is willing to try running straight and fast.  Mitchell built a wing car a while back...haven't seen it though.

So, what's it gonna be this time?  Any "insider" information?  What's the scoop?  Inquiring minds want to know!

See you all Saturday!

Last night's stuff from Hanford (which was NOT a points race for the KWS, =and= there is NO KWS show tonight... but the shortest tow for a KWS car to Perris would be about 275 miles; the 360 Taco Bravo Sprints -- in which Shane Golobic has been a regular player -- did not run last night at Watsonville):
