I don't think either of them will be unemployed for very long. Dale and George obviously have a good thing going and Dale is a smooth, clean driver who wins a ton of races and is easy on equipment.

Hopefully everything works out for the current owner. Lets leave it at that at this point. This article is smart for Blaney to say though just in case... I'm sure if George and Dale want to stay together some owner would gladly take that duo if their current deal goes south.

I'm sure it will work out for Blaney. Resume too good to be sitting on the sidelines. Wouldn't be surprised if someone purchases team.

Gators do you have any concerns about the weekly car count at the Grove ,it seems like more teams are picking and choosing or just running one night a week?
I saw Davey Sammons has no races at the Grove on his schedule.
Any news on Matt Campbell he hasnt been out yet I thought he was going to run 410 this season?

I have concerns in Central Pa. Like you said, guys are picking and choosing and not really concerned about racing for points anymore. It's too expensive for the return.
The good news is that the area has a lot of specialty shows. Time trial events with higher paying winner's checks are on the rise. The World of Outlaws are here three times, and the All Stars make their way into the region twice and have a schedule that allows for a third or fourth trip for some teams.
I do, however, think some of the reason for the lower car count at the Grove last week was the weather. It was colder than expected and teams knew early enough that they decided to stay home. Still, it was an alarming number and cause for worry as the season goes on.

I'm concerned as well. I'm especially concerned about Port Royal because it looks like their field is going to be down on both quality and quantity compared to Lincoln. I have no idea how to do it because no one is getting rich running these dirt tracks but the solution I see is getting the purses and/or point funds higher. I personally think an increased weekly purse would do more for car counts than a bigger point fund but inevitably, if that is done, us fans are going to see increased admission prices and I don't know what that's going to do to the crowds. Maybe more cars will equal more people but I don't know. I could definitely see the crowds go down too. One thing is for sure, something has to change. Personally, I'd love to see all the tracks work together and have sort of a regional series that alternates between the tracks and pays higher purses and a good end of the year points fund but I know we'll never see that happen.

Per Matt's facebook page he will be in the 358 sprint for another season. If he has another good year and builds on last years accomplishments then it's 410's for 2016.
With last year being his rookie year I think it's a smart / responsible decision by Matt.
Congrats to Matt on his wins and 2014 Williamsgrove & Lincoln Speedway ROTY Awards.

The FAST Series for Attica/Fremont is awesome and pays $10,000 to winner. Attica also paying out $10,000 to the track champion. The season over here is much shorter also. I don't understand how any team can survive a season in Central PA. So many races. Attica has 20 410 shows and Fremont has 18.
