So the track was rubbered up tonight for the WoO race. What tires did the front runners use?

Doubt that it mattered. A real dry track will do that. Cusion was half way to the fence when dirtvision came on at the start of WoO hot laps. What little track work they did was blown off by the mod lites in their feature and it was back to shiney black from berm to wall at the start of the WoO A. Laid rubber in 15 laps. Can't wait for April 18th and the opener at Knoxville where they know how to prep a racetrack!

Id just like to know the tire choices. Stewart complimented Suchy on his tire choice. I was wondering if the softer tire was used and still held up.

I"ve only been going to sprints for 5 yrs. now, but finally concluded that track prep is THE #1 THING to make a good race. I went to Trophy Cup last year, excited about full inversion format, but track conditions made it follow the leader anyway... for the Final at least. Day One everyone was wrecking in turns 3&4, even on hot laps. Day 2, wrecking on 1 & 2. FInale, follow the leader

Tire choices ranged through pits. Minimum of pair of 15s to 20-15. Brown the winner had med-15.

I hope you realize that WoO assumes track prep rites at all shows. They prefer dry slick.
I tell it like I see it.

Dry slick and rubbered up are two totally different things.
305's are the herpes of sprint cars

Thanks. At least you answered the question I was asking instead of going on about track prep. I know about that stuff . I was just interested in tire choice. Do you know what Stewart ran?
