WoO Sprints are live on DirtVision Weds and Thurs in case anyone wants to shake off some snow/ice blues. Only $39.99 for the two day package is a pretty decent price considering what some others have been charging - IMHO.

Spring Training baseball on the tube during the day and WoO on DirtVision at night .. gotta love it! And will make this next winter blast sweeping across the country a bit more bearable... well that and a few adult beverages.  wink

I agree, $40 for two nights of racing is way too much with 4 heats with no passing and hopefully a decent A main.

While you are complaining, please state what price you would pay.

I few years back you offered a deal  for the year for around $89 package. Why not a yearly deal now?

A decent price for a year when you compare the amount of races they have added would be in the range of $250 probably.

There is a PPV sprint car event every weekend, sometimes multiple.  I would pay $10 or $15 per event but $20 or more is just to high for a regular show wtih 4 heats, B main, Dash and A main.

$40 for 2 nights is a pretty good deal for a WoO show and the quality of cars that will be there with the mid west and west coast drivers also showing up, plus you get the USAC non winged 360 tomorrow night. Otherwise, you get to wait until your tracks thaw out before you get to see any racing in the east.

I do miss the season pass but they haven't done that for I think two years now 40 bucks is not that bad I paid 65 for three nights of ascs on xsan but there was 67 sprint cars but none as good as the outlaws, personally doesn't matter the price I love sprint car racing and the fact there is a ppv race on that I can't make it to in person I'm gonna be watching it . Thanks xsan dirtvison the cushion usac tv and can't wait for dean mills new website !

I'm a huge fan of Sprint Car racing. That being said 40.00 bucks for 2 nights of racing on Dirtvision is a joke. 10-15 bucks is about all  it's worth. They always have issues. Btw....$65 dollars for ASCS racing.....That's highway robbery!! That series has become a joke!

I think this is a case of two different viewpoints.  Neither is wrong, it's more about individual circumstances.  I watch a couple PPV's from bigger events during the summer.  The A Main of the Knoxville Nationals is starting to become a bit of a tradition.

Is $40 too much for this show?  I'm 2 1/2 years from retirement and trying to pay down some debt and those weekly PPV's could easily add up to another $1,000 on my credit card.  It's like an addition, if I give in my budget is toast.

On the other hand there are probably some thinking I'm a cheap SOB (it's likely that they've got more disposable income to spend on this sort of thing).  I've got cable TV with everything but movie channels, a DVR in the main room and boxes in a couple other rooms.  I've got Netflix and Amazon Prime and a room full of music equipment that begs to be used.

So would I like to watch the Outlaws tonight and tomorrow?  Sure but it's a later start due to the time difference and the office has been intense so I'll probably be sleeping on the couch by 9pm CST.  To put this further in perspective I can watch Wild Hockey tomorrow night as part of my cable package.  I can watch concerts on Palladia, movies on Netflix and Amazon as well as a ton of stuff on the internet.

Personally I'd love to watch the Outlaws for an hour or so until I start sawing logs (5am comes awfully early) but it's not worh the expense.  What I'd really like to see is the WoO get a real television contract where people like me with a sports package can watch them on their system.  I mean come on, I can watch motocross, monster trucks, every NASCAR race and a ton of car shows as part of my package.  Unfortunately after agonizing over the lack of televised Sprint Car racing for years I have come to the conclusion that it's never going to warrant a decent television package where someone like me who is paying out $100 per month for entertainment can see it on my system.

One other note.  Between the box sores, fans with phones that are capable of HD video, and videographers posting these races on social media practically in real time I don't miss any of the action.  I read the race recap and check out social media and can usually piece together what happened.  Might even start out listening to the audio tonight until the eyelids get heavy.

Nothing against Dirtvision or any of the PPV services.  They have come a long way in quality and reliability over the past few years.  Some of us just can't afford to part with that kind of change.  If they offered a season pass for $100 I would seriously consider something like that but PPV on the internet is different than televised sports.

This is just my opinion based on my personal circumstances.

csracing72c  Why not offer a $100 - $150 package for the year and see how many takers you get?

My observation is that dirt track racing on internet PPV does not have any cheap outfield seats.  I'm sure that there are costs involved and a lot of factors that go into the pricing.  I know someone who runs one of the dirt track racing internet PPV services and there's a lot of things that come into play when putting these deals on.

I'm going to listen to the audio for the WoO at Vegas starting at 8pm for as long as I can keep my eyes open.  I doubt if I'll make it through the whole thing but that will have to do for now.

And if they do not get enough takers and go out of business then you will be bitching cause there is no pay per view of the races you want to see.

No arguement that it's a fair price when put up against flying down there for the race.  Still not much consolation to those of us that want to avoid aquiring a $40+ per week PPV habit.

By the way, I didn't make it to the first heat last night.  It would not have been a good option for me (sitting here typing at 5:30am CST while the van warms up).  It's -16 out there this morning.

+1, I live 40 mins from Williams Grove and I prefer to watch the Woo races on PPV because its cheaper, and I get to see more of the track on my TV.

I think paying for it individually, $40 may be a bit steep. BUT, a thing to consider is there are many situations when you have multpile people watching that same $40 stream - so I don't think that amount is unreasonable when taking that into consideration. Getting together and watching a race with 4-10 other people obviously makes that price very cost effective, so I think that $40 price becomes very reasonable.

Or do what my parents did last night and head to BWW's and watch the Vegas race with some of the Dobmeier clan in Grand Forks - if you have that option!

To me it's hard to pay when there is no passing. If you start up front you finish up front. I did pay when they had a one time fee. Would do it again if they did though. Just my opinion.
