Cody Darrah to run family-owned deal with All Star Circuit of Champions in 2015

Good deal, the All-Stars are gaining traction and it gives Cody a chance to travel and maybe get some confidence back.  I think a lot of people forget the injury he suffered in the car crash,  but in 2009 he was as stout a local as the 2013 WoO Champion was when he ran here in any of the 4 years prior.

I'm happy to hear that too. It is gonna be cool to see the new All Stars group this year.  Great lineup of drivers and tracks.  Can't wait for the end of March at Atomic!!

Good luck Cody and all of the All Stars this year - and thanks again Tony Stewart!

I think this will be good for Cody. Like previously mentioned, confidence can go a long way.

Who owned the traction control they ran in PA in 2009?  Is that unit still available for use in the family car?  LOL!

Cody never got screwed by KKR.  Things happen.  Also he  won 2 WOO features in 2014, had 17 top 5 s and about 40 top tens.

And in other news Brad Swest adds a sponsor... It's a nice that KKR is trying to save face for Cody but I have a hard time buying into the no sponser deal. This move benefits both parties though. Darrah is a hell of a shoe and racing closer to home might be what he needs to take that next step. I remember watching Donny when he first started floor everyone at RRVS, to getting floored on the road, to being one of the best the sport has seen. There's a learning curve. No doubt.

So Kasey Kahne can't find sponsors for a team and Schatz and Kinser are both sponsored by Bad Boy Buggies.

Looks like even influx of NASCAR money is in flux.

I guess gone are the days when you didn't need it.

I find it odd they couldn't get a sponsor for Cody, but Brad just aquired someone other than Ollies for Las Vegas. They say it it wasnt performance based. I find that hard to believe.

KKR full of crap

Since you obviously are a Darrah fan, what would you like KKR to say instead, "we can only afford two full time teams with our current sponsorship so we are keeping the two that are give us the best chance to win on the road full time."  Instrad they go out of their way to say good things about Cody.  How exactly was he screwed and what was he owed by KKR that he did not receive?

Schatz was Darrah's age in 2002. By that time, he had won the National Open, the Histoical Big One, the Western World, led 20+ laps of the Knoxville Nationals, finished 2nd in that race twice, won Rookie of the Year, and won double-digits in one season with the Outlaws.

This notion that Schatz was like Darrah until 2006 is a bit silly.

I'm not comparing them at the same age. Just saying donny took his lumps.

Darrah may be the long awaited hope for an Allstar team to win an Allstar race on Posse Soil...based out of Red Lion Ohio?...the irony of reality.

Good luck Crazy Joe and Cody.
