Last year the Volusia races had over 40 cars (43 for tonights race, then around 35-38 for the Woo) races. Tonight only 28 cars. Lingering affect of the All-Star/Renegade ordeal? Even still, if any of the All-Star guys leave after tomorrows race, will there really be speedway WOO races of less than 20 cars? With the great weather forecast for this week, was expecting better.

The all stars due to the short notice of the merger made the events in FL non point races.

35-40 cars is still a good field. I suspect that the events don't pay deep enough for many of the mid size team to attend.

With nothing but cheap small block chevies and a bunch of flat black paint and chinese cars, you'd think there would be thousands of entries.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

And so what would be the car count if every Ford powered 410 in the country showed up? Five? Ten?

Was Terry McCarl there with his car, but not racing until Thursday Night? At least there was a video on social media showing the car warming up, saying it was racing "tomorrow". Any word why he didnt race tonight?

Haven't even looked at any results but I think after years of B-Mains most of the Posse has given up the Ghost, which makes nothing but sense....

Yo Ford Dummy, I checked my email and it appears there were 3 regular Posse drivers there, in the past they would have 8 - 10. Once again, as per usual, in trying to take a cheap shot you are totally WRONG, clueless would be a compliment for you. Maybe you just don't understand what I post, heck you drive a Ford so I guess that makes more sense....

Hard place to compete at unless you have WoO horsepower. Maybe not a huge car count, but still a high quality field of cars.
I agree with a lot of posts here. Plenty of racing throughout the year, so no reason to waste your time in Florida if you don't have to or want to.
This event brought a decent amount of PA cars into town beacuse these All Star shows counted towards the East Region points.

Isn't there an issue with a spike in blown motors down there? May scare some teams away.

A decade of getting shut out and one win has them the greatest act in show-biz again, lol! Maybe somebody can look up the records from Florida for the last dozen years, don't have the time nor care enough but it ain't pretty for the cheerleaders in Posseville....
Ford, I was talking to you and you caught on, of course you have nothing to say about it because you were wrong AGAIN, some things never change....

Any special brand of popcorn that makes forum posts easier to digest? Most of this crap gives me indigestion.

I'm sitting up in Minnesota with temps dipping below zero and winds up to 25 mph this weekend. My wife isn't into racing so the family travel budget does not get spent on racing trips. Right about now I'd be pretty happy to see ten cars on a dirt track. 28 cars is a good field when the alternative is to take a walk in snow shoes, what's the problem?
