sorry I couldn't resist this. But the 'famed' Devil's Bowl Speedway had a whopping total of 7 super sprints last weekend. While on the other end of town Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale had close to 30 ASCS type sprints. Guess drivers are thinking what I've thought for most of this year as well. The promoter of Cowtown - Bo Rawdon - is a good promoter. I like it that if you ask a question on the Cowtown Forum - half the time the PROMOTER himself will answer it within a few hours.
I think the difference of Cowtown and Devil's Bowl is that 1 promoter cares about his drivers and fans ------the other doesn't at all. I bet whenever the seats get awfully empty at the Bowl he'll start to care though. Or he'll just start countin down the days to the Chili Bowl.
Sorry David Smith, I know I'm "beating a dead horse". But I think the overall issue is very much alive.
