Please dont bash me for my questions... Im a huge sprint car fan or I would not be on this board but im truly concerned.....and im not trying to cause problems ...Whats going on here?????  Kevin and Jeannie Montgomery doing all they can  to promote non wing racing in AZ  $2000.00 to win Fri and Sat  and $4000.00 on Sunday and only 14 cars????? And 3 of those are travelers  Darland, Bernal, Bacon .Dykes is from NM and we know Zehl is not a regular as he is from Las Cruces/El Paso area. So there are 5 non regulars.Last year there were 24 cars on the first 2 nights of the winter challenge  and 29 on the following weekend. in 2013 I know there were more than that. I truly am concerned...is non wing 360 sprint car racing dieing in AZ? Is  this what we have to look forward to in 2015 ?  I too doubt there will

be more Sunday nite.

I would not panic and estimate 2015 field size on a race held in January.  Most teams are still in the process of rebuilding and fortfying their bank accounts for the beginning of the racing season in March.

What does USAC have to do with it?   I have struggled to understand this for some time, not being a smart ass but explain.  the USAC officials came to my pit numerous time last night and were friendly, they thanked us for coming multiple times, thanked us for having the car ready on time in the push line; and the pay window was cash money as soon as the race was over.  I don't get it, not sure you can ask for much more.

The only reason we were there last night was to get some laps on a new car and motor so we had some notes going into our regular season.  The car was horible for the main, we missed it real bad but we need the laps.  The Southwest regulars don't, I am not surprised guys did not want to tear up equipment because that will happen at Canyon.  Maybe we should not read too much into a January sprint car race with low car count.  Low car count in May, ok, but I know a lot of guys getting their stuff ready and are excited to be back racing in Tucson as well as AZ Speeday this year.

It's going to be a riot this summer, don't give up on us gang.  Money is short after the holidays...  Cheers

!!!!???? I'm not sure but since Usac came in the cars count seems to be down.

Just wonder if everyone has been paid from races last yr?

Maybe why low car count still money to be paid?

Thanks for coming out!

Just saying USAC or not I'll still be here!

Cool.  Thanks for the reply.  I don't think it's usac that leads to low car counts, if my car is ready and I have money I'm racing.  Don't care who's name is on the poster.  Most other car owners too, at least with non wing.  We are a small group compared to the wing boys, but sprint cars belong topless so I'm going to do it till I can't no more and then build a factory stock.  just so I can afford to wreck something g!!!

cheers gang, bummer about the rain in Tucson.  See ya all in Yuma!  That's going to be a party
