The thing about this is this is no one fault. This is all because of mother nature. People have been without electricity for sometime because of rain. Feel sorry for brooke, his family and the team. The owner want to race but they have there business and some 60 individual and their familys to think about.

My unit wouldn't follow the link so I have to guess. The sign is still out front of the building, went by this afternoon. Lots of teams sell of the old stuff over the winter and start with all new the following season. Of course, if the release says they are getting out, then nevermind. I heard today that Mark Dobermeyer would be driving for them next season, if they are getting out, why hire someone. Oh well, let the guessing continue.

If the weather in Burlington, Washington isn‘t enough to take the smile off a persons face with all the rain that caused the floods, then the snow which has had people snowed in plus the fact that homes & businesses have been without electricity for weeks which all takes it’s toll on people, more sad news arrives out of the Rush Racing Stables.
Team owners Tim Hanson & Bob Campbell announced today, with the greatest regret, that the curtain has been forced to close on the Rush Racing operation due to severe hard times for their business empires which is taking 120% commitment to rebuild. With some of the teams sponsors not returning next season, due to their own hard economic times, the team owners have no choice for the time being.
LARRY...... Mark is driving the Lunstra team that was Chad Meyer drove the past several years
Dobmeier Racing and Lunstra Motorsports are teaming up for 2007. Look for Mark to run River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, ND) on Fridays, Knoxville, IA on Saturdays and Husets Speedway Sundays. Of course, we will also look for other Outlaw dates when possible.

Well, another article in Sprint Car Daily, "Rush Racing Rained
Out!", yesterday confirms the FACT that Rush Racing has been dissolved.

Hate to see this happen to any team. Sad day for race fans. Brooke was always fun to watch. He is a great driver and promotes the sport world wide. Looking forward to seeing where he lands for 2007.

I too hate to see this team break up, I would have never thought it would happen.
I bet they'd like to have that money back for that $18,000 paint job now...

it would never happen. but it would be cool to see Brooke Tatnell somehow end up racing for ASCS National Title. I mean, somebody has to give Jason Johnson a run for the money. As bad as this sounds.....if Gary Wright doesn't end up goin for the title next season ASCS might as well write the check now. Thats an overstatement. But right now he's on fire.
I think best case scenario for ASCS is Gary Wright and Shane Stewart both finding rides for ASCS National to make it a major 3 way battle for the ASCS Championship. Tatnell ran in this area with NCRA, but that was with the Trop Arctic 66 team which is gone. Even as the action is still great nationwide in our sport, these are certainly hard times.

Another cheap shot from the most recent grad of the BRR school of ignorance, well done Hawk.
Brooke has always been a survivor and the most unluckiest racer I've ever known. Be tough old friend and bounce back, again. Take It Easy.....

How is that a cheap shot?
Just pointing out what most "normal" people would observe. I bet Brian Carlson would like the money that they spent on a paint job. The most ironic point of the whole thing is that Carlson will be back with the WoO in 2007.
