My guess is that it is because they have a later membership deadline than the others. With our MOWA series, we don't require membership until the week before the season simply because guys our out buying stuff for their race cars this time of year and we don't really need their money until we start racing and need to insure them.
I bet the IRA and Knoxville membership will be 90% the same as last year and will change throughout the season as drivers join who might not have started the season. Typically drivers join and pay when they have to... and not a minute before... and there's really nothing wrong with that.

No offense, when was the last time a track put out a driver's list???
And I would say if you wanted a Knoxville drivers list, at least half of the NSL list would probably be a good place to start.

"List" would probably not be the best way to describe the All-Stars line-up. Maybe a "pair" or a "set" perhaps?
Maybe a handful?
List. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Bubba would get more cars in Florida if he just had a non-sanctioned 410 race. Oh yeah that's right, evvvveerrrrybody going to those races are only going because of the "All Star" name................give me a break.

This may be a reach, but I am pretty positive that I can name at least half of the All-Star's line-up. I am going from memory of last year and there are a couple of names floating in my head.......Oh yeah, Dale Blaney. That's all I have.......Who needs a printed roster with this turnout?

Let's be honest here, the NSL driver list is not the same as the Outlaws driver roster, nor should it be. All 26 of those guys are not planning to follow the entire series. They are simply registering early to save a few dollars and take advantage of the awesome contingencies.
Heck, IMCA/Racesaver could put out a "driver roster" too for anyone who reupped their IMCA license for 2015. That doesn't mean they are going to have 95 racers at their events.

Knoxville doesn't have a membership to sign up for. If they put out a list it's based on what guys tell them. Generally they update the drivers list on the website in March with a list of drivers that have told them they intend to run.
Some drop off as plans change or sponsors fall through, while others get added that no one knew were planning on it.
Expecting a driver's list from a WEEKLY track is laughable anyway, last I checked most locals don't have the sponsorship required to commit to a full season (as for many, a blown engine or bad wreck ends their season).

local tracks without a sanctioning body aren't going to get a pre season committment from a lot of teams. that being said, and in response to "laughable" when it comes to weekly tracks driver lists.....Selinsgrove Speedway puts a drivers list for all 4 regular divisions on their website starting after the first week of the season and it gets update every week with new drivers who run there.

(1) Travel Costs Plummet as Sarah Palin's "Drill Baby Drill" Backdoors Obama's Drones and Becomes a Reality Regardless
(2) Price Gouging for ASCS "Compliant" 360 Engines
(3) All Start PR Nightmare
(4) Backbone of Renegade Racers
(5) NSL's Mature Adult Content Approach to Organization
....next...the expansion of NSL into other regions...bye bye touring "limiteds"...
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD

The Knoxville drivers will be updated from now until the beginning of the season. There is no membership but we try to update driver profiles as drivers get back to us. I think you will see some big additions to all three classes...

So, they put a driver's list out AFTER the season starts (so basically point standings).
The OP wanted a drivers list for the 2015 season the 3rd week of January, I don't think any LOCAL track is capable of doing so and say 100% that all those cars are there on a regular basis (that is what I menat by "laughable"). Wayyyyyy to early for Selingsgrove, Williams Grove, Lincoln, Knoxville, Chico, etc. to have a drivers listing for a season that hasn't started.

Thanks Bill, basically the same as what I posted (you'll put out a list based on what driver's have told you). But, until a car rolls through the gate the first night of the season, there is never a guarantee.
